The music on Unfold the Universe is very um... cinematic! Inspirational to a cinema in the mind, it's a medium to help you create or to keep you company while you do and indented for submission to the JWST art project.

This EP has only 3 tracks which are hopefully time bending ones as time, and linear thinking should not exist here. As these are the sounds of existing in the meantime, a journey here, there and elsewhere, all at once. And yes I know there are 5 tracks, just stay with me ha.

The first track, well, just slow your pulse and enjoy, there are many colours within the spectrum of sound.

At the exact midpoint of the second track, things change and the listener is taken through an invisible barrier, reversing and changing the general reality of the album. The 3rd takes an earthly spin and lands right back on this planet. Maybe it would sound good in reverse too, you know, like a Zeppelin album or something 🤪.

I'm thinking of the final 2 songs being a sort of short film, their own mini album. They were created from the aftermath of energy that I poured into this project. To me, the 2 are sort of an afterburn of emotions, easing the transition back into reality.

Truth is, I've been settling into this album for some time, fussed with where this sound should live and now, I feel I finally understand it enough to publish. Thanks for listening!

Oh! almost forgot, Covered Lanterns, among other meanings, is also a cute reference to the Galileo experiment for testing the speed of light.
